Update on EPIQ-RN Intakes

We recognise that a lot is going on in the world right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank you for your understanding and patience in waiting for EPIQ-RN program at the Institute of Health & Management (IHM).

We are delighted to inform you that, IHM is restarting its EPIQ-RN program with an option to study the theory component online, from May 11th, 2020 onwards.

At this stage, the EPIQ-RN course will be available to the onshore students as there are travel restrictions in place for international students. We will allocate seats and accommodate our offshore students in the future intakes when the travel restrictions are lifted by the Federal Government. Although the course will be delivered online, the clinical placements and tests will be conducted in our Sydney and Melbourne campuses as of now.

IHM has a well-established online learning platform in place, through which our students have been able to continue learning without any compromise even amidst the COVID-19 restrictions/recommendations.

Our courses are designed, developed and hence will be delivered online with the same quality and commitment as always.

FAQs

Is the course available only for onshore students?

At this stage, the EPIQ-RN course will be available to the onshore students as there are travel restrictions in place for international students. We will allocate seats and accommodate our offshore students in the future intakes when the travel restrictions are lifted by the Federal Government. Can offshore students do this course online?

As there are International travel restrictions in place, we are offering the course to those who are currently in Australia (onshore). However, we will allocate seats for overseas students provided they meet the entry requirements accordingly when the travel restrictions are removed by the Federal Government

As EPIQ-RN course comprises of 50% clinical placements and 50% theory component, the student has to be on-shore to complete the entire course. Hence, even if a student has completed the theory component online, they will have to be onshore to complete their clinical placements. Hence, we will not be able to provide seats to offshore students until the travel restrictions have been lifted by the federal government.

What about students who were originally enrolled in intakes that were cancelled?

Onshore students who were originally supposed to start their classes earlier, will be accommodated in the earliest available intake provided they meet all the entry requirements.

Offshore students who were originally supposed to start their classes earlier will be accommodated in the future intakes when the travel ban has been lifted by the Australian Federal Government, provided they meet all the entry requirements.

I was previously enrolled in the Perth campus; will I be accommodated in other intakes?

Yes, onshore students who have been offered seats in the IHM Perth Campus, will be accommodated in the next available intakes in Sydney and Melbourne campuses.
